![]() In frame of the Bridge festival in Budapest: Festival of Contemporary Artists and Arts in the TUNNEL (ALAGÚT) - continuation of the Chain Bridge ![]() ~ "Webism - art connecting the world" with this title was held an international virtual exhibition of fine art on 19 June 2004, in the Tunnel. Webism is an international movement of art, its members are professional artists adapting, by creating their pictures, also the possibilities offered through the computer besides the traditional methods. The computer technology has eliminated not only the limits of the process of creating, but also the limitations of the communication between creators and between creators and spectators. Visitors had the chance to view together 300 artworks of 22 artists from 10 countries, all set into a unique 1 hour 45 minutes DVD compilation (featured independently in this gazette), looped perpetually through 12 hours on six(6) plasma televisions ~ plus one giant screen after dark. The curator and the composer of the DVD presented in the Tunnel was one of the artists: Tibor Kovács-egri. The exhibition was realized on the request of the festival organizer firm: Art-Mobil Ltd. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The scene of the exhibition was the Tunnel (Alagút).

by Ádám Clark This Bridge festival is a new tradition, it is held in June since 6 years with 60 thousand visitors per year. There are concerts, dance ensembles etc. from many countries.
